Welcome to Momineen of Milton, your dedicated spiritual hub for the Shia community in Milton, Ontario. Our mission is to keep the Shia Muslims in Milton and the surrounding Halton Region engaged and spiritually connected throughout the year by offering a wide range of religious services and activities.

Momineen of Milton is committed to fulfilling the prayer and worship needs of the Shia community in Milton. We currently provide congregational prayers (Sala’at Ba Jamaa’at), focusing at Friday prayers and Maghreb’ain. With the continued support of our community, our goal is to establish regular five-time prayers, ensuring that our spiritual practices are at the heart of our daily lives.

We are honored to have our Resident A’alim, Hujjatul Islam Agha Syed Raza Hussain Zaidi, leading us. A highly qualified Shia scholar from Qum, Iran, Agha Syed Raza Hussain Zaidi brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of religious matters. Fluent in Persian, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, and English, he is well-equipped to engage with the diverse Shia Muslim community in Milton and beyond.

Under his guidance, we regularly organize Majalis during Ashra-e Muharram and other significant dates in the Shia Islamic calendar, serving the spiritual needs of Shia Muslims in the town. These gatherings highlight the importance of Marasim-e Azadari and allow the community to come together in remembrance and reflection. Agha Syed Raza Hussain Zaidi has also been instrumental in engaging the youth, helping them deepen their understanding of the faith, the significance of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) in Islam, and the foundational practices of Sala’at and Arabic recitation.

At Momineen of Milton, we are dedicated to continuing and enhancing our engagement with the Shia community. We believe in nurturing a strong, connected community that supports its members at all levels, ensuring that our youth remain actively involved and inspired by their faith.
